Dearest Mother,

Well, here I am again.
Hows everybody feeling
by now? Swell I hope!
I’m still O.K. except a bit
tired. I’ve been buzzing
around some today.
This has been a nice
day. We didn’t even have
to wear a jacket out. I’m
ready for some of this
weather because I’ve
been where it was
so awfully cold this
past winter.
It was bad about the
President dieing. I heard about
it sometime this mor-
ning.
 

I’ve just sent my laundry
out. Some little boys
came by for it on their
bicycles. Its pretty high
to have it done but oh
so much nicer than
doing it yourself. You
know yourself just about
how well I like to
wash clothes.
Guess I had better
close and get off to bed.
I may have to get up
early tomorrow morning.
